In a day where there is a lot of bad children's books, I can't say enough about this delightful story (especially for those of us from Illinois or anyone who likes Abe Lincoln!) and the beautiful illustrations. Surprise someone and buy it for them - you won't be sorry. Enjoy!
This book is really great. It is a must own for any parent from Springfield. It made me very nostalgic. Loved teaching my kids about their important Illinois heritage.
Enjoyed reading this little book. As a native of Springfield it was fun finding all the little landmarks we are aware of as well as the historical landmarks.
